Dice and Dice Rolls
Chimera uses the six “standard” polyhedral dice. A “d4” refers to a 4-sided die, a “d6” refers to a 6-sided die, and so on. A number before the die type shows how many dice to toss; the result is the sum of each die. For example, 3d6 means roll three 6-sided dice and add them together (for a result of 3–18).
Die Roll Modifiers
A value after a die roll is added to the result. For example, 3d6+4 means roll three 6-sided dice and add four; 3d6–2 gives a result of 1–16, and 3d6x10 results in 30–180.
